Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our American-made cast iron.
How should I clean my Lancaster Cast Iron skillet?
Hand wash your skillet with warm water and a small amount of mild soap if needed. Dry it immediately and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel, then apply a very light layer of cooking oil to maintain the seasoning.
Does your cookware come pre-seasoned?
Yes, every piece of Lancaster Cast Iron arrives at your door pre-seasoned with two layers of organic grapeseed oil, making it ready to use for your first meal right out of the box.
Where is Lancaster Cast Iron manufactured?
We take pride in our heritage; all of our cast iron products are designed and cast right here in the United States, specifically in Pennsylvania, using traditional sand-casting methods.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy for unused products in their original packaging. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact our support team to initiate a return or exchange.
Can I use my skillet on a glass stovetop?
Absolutely. Our skillets feature a smooth, machined bottom surface designed to provide even heat distribution and minimize the risk of scratching glass or induction cooktops.
How long does shipping take?
Standard domestic orders typically ship within 2-3 business days. Depending on your location, you can expect your order to arrive within 5-7 business days via UPS or USPS.
